Curious about sharing your research data but unsure where to start?

In this session, we are joined by Mark Hahnel, the VP Open Research at Digital Science, and founder of Figshare open repository software. He will discuss how Figshare supports researchers in upholding FAIR principles— ensuring that their research data is easily Findable, Accessible, Interoperable, and Reusable.

Figshare powers our Institutional Data Repository, providing the infrastructure to store and disseminate your research data. This includes datasets, interview transcripts, images, audio files, and code.

Sharing your research data is vital for cultivating a positive research culture, by promoting transparency and aiding the reproducibility of results. Figshare facilitates this process by offering a user-friendly platform that promotes adherence to FAIR principles.

Whether you're an experienced researcher aiming to optimise your data sharing workflow or entirely new to the concept, this session will provide you with the knowledge to effectively leverage Figshare's features, and improve the discoverability and usability of your research data.
