Octopus publishing: the global primary research record where researchers publish their work in full detail In-Person
Speakers: Emily Wild and Tim Fellows.
Octopus is a new publishing platform for scholarly research. It is funded by UKRI – the UK government research funder.
Here researchers can publish all their work for free, in full detail, enabling peer review and quality assessment, gaining credit for what they have done, and allowing the research community to build upon it.
This in-person session will introduce the Octopus system, and have additional time available for you to try adding your own projects to the platform.
Please bring your own device if you would like to try adding your work.
This session is of interest to academic, technical, and professional staff and research students at Northumbria and is also open for external booking.
Registration has closed.
