Research Profiles workshop: spring cleaning with a meaning In-Person

Many research systems create research identities based on your publications and activities. They enhance the visibility of your research and showcase your work inside and outside academia.

Often these are generated by algorithms and can contain errors or duplication, making it difficult for others to discover your interests or evaluate your research strengths.

Learning how to manage your research identity online can help make your work more discoverable and help you make connections with others in your field.

In this session we will introduce:

  • Scopus author profiles
  • Pure profiles
  • ORCID
  • Google Scholar profiles

We will look at where data comes from for each profile and how you can easily manage and update your online presence.

Staff from the Scholarly Communications Team in the Library will be on hand to help you update your profiles as part of the session.

Please bring your own device.
