Exploring Publishing Options with Northumbria Journals Online
Northumbria Journals is Northumbria University Library’s fully Open Access publishing platform. It offers students and academics a genuine publishing experience, allowing them to publish, read, and share research at no cost.
This session will introduce the platform and show how it supports creating and running your own journal. You’ll also hear about its role in experiential learning, helping students gain confidence and valuable skills through publishing, peer review, and editorial roles.
Greg Elder, Assistant Professor in Psychology, will share his experience of setting up the new Northumbria Psychology Bulletin and how the platform supports innovative projects like this.
