Introduction to academic publishing (Online) Online

In this introductory session we will follow the publishing journey from idea to impact, helping you to understand the basics of academic publishing, navigate the peer review process and select a target journal. 

We will also discuss avoiding common pitfalls, how to deal with negative reviews and adapt to changing trends in publishing. 

If you want to publish your work or understand more about how, where, and why academic work gets published, this session is for you. 

Taught part of the session lasts for 1 hour, followed by 30 minutes for questions at the end.
