This session is aimed at all PGRs, ECRs and any other researchers.

Session details

Get Write to It is a dedicated social writing session designed to help you focus, stay motivated, and write alongside a friendly community of fellow researchers.

Start by setting personal writing goals, then dive into two hours of uninterrupted writing time. Bring along your own refreshments to enjoy during short breaks and stay for the final few minutes to celebrate your achievements and exchange writing tips.

It’s a low-pressure, high-productivity environment – perfect for tackling any writing task, big or small.

By the end of the session, you will be able to:

  • Set and work towards achievable writing goals.
  • Build productive writing habits in a focused environment.
  • Connect with a community of fellow writers.
  • Reflect on your writing process and share useful tips.

Session logistics

This two-hour session is open to all students and operates on a drop-in basis, no need to register in advance. You can join online, using the Teams link below, or on-campus. Arrive at any time during the session, stay as long as you like, and write at your own pace. For any questions, please contact the Library.
