**Learn the stages of a systematic review, explore review types, and build an effective search strategy.**
This session is primarily aimed at PGRs but is open to all researchers.
Session details
Work with Library experts through the key stages of a systematic review, from shaping your research question to finding, assessing, and synthesising studies. We’ll compare systematic and other review types, and give practical guidance on designing a search strategy, including database choice, keywords, and filters.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Outline the process of conducting a systematic review.
- Identify different types of literature reviews and their uses.
- Develop and refine a search strategy.
- Manage and organise search results effectively.
Session logistics
The session includes 1 hour of teaching followed by 30 minutes for questions. It is open to all researchers and will be delivered online via Teams or on-campus (please check when booking). For any questions, please contact the Library.
