Managing your references with EndNote In-Person
**See how EndNote can save you time by helping you organise your sources and making citing and referencing easier.**
This session is primarily aimed at 1st year PGRs but is open to all researchers.
Session details
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to use EndNote to manage references throughout your research. The session covers how to set up an EndNote library, import references from databases, and organise them effectively. You’ll also discover how to use the ‘Cite While You Write’ feature in Microsoft Word to insert in-text citations and automatically generate reference lists. Ideal for researchers looking to streamline their referencing process and avoid common citation errors.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Create and organise a personal EndNote library.
- Import references from a range of sources.
- Use EndNote to insert citations and build a reference list.
- Manage and edit references with confidence.
Session logistics
The session includes 1 hour of teaching followed by 1 hour for questions and troubleshooting. It is open to all researchers and will be delivered online via Teams or on-campus (check format when booking). For any questions, please contact the Library.
