Getting started with your literature review (Online) Online
**Understand what a literature review is, how to approach it, and how to structure it effectively.**
This session is primarily aimed at 1st year PGRs but is open to all researchers.
Session details
Explore what makes a strong literature review, how to find and select sources, and how to organise and present your findings. It’s a great starting point if you're unsure how to begin or want to improve your current approach.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Identify the purpose and features of a literature review.
- Understand different approaches to searching.
- Understand different approaches to writing.
- Organise and structure your literature review effectively.
Session logistics
The session includes a 1 hour taught component followed by 30 minutes for questions and discussion. It is open to all researchers and will be delivered either online or on campus (please check when booking). For any questions, please contact the Library.
